Zazie Olivia Beetz was born in Berlin in 1991. Her father is an German cabinet maker, who immigrated in the United States in 1990 after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and her mother is a South Africa-American social worker in New York. Jennifer Aniston also graduated from her high school. Beetz went on to study French at Skidmore College after graduating LaGuardia. She immediately started auditioning after college and landed the role of Van on the set of Atlanta. Beetz is the daughter of a German dad as well as an African American mother from Berlin and was born by her parents in New York and spoke German and English. Zazie was a stage performer in the community and on stage in New York throughout her early years. Zazie discovered that she loved acting when she was at high school. Zendaya is able to achieve her Disney Channel breakthrough role Zendaya has a great dance talent. In 2010 the actress and dancer was finally offered her breakthrough performance when she was cast in the role of Rocky Blue in the show 'Shake It Up', with co-star Bella Thorne. Zendaya went vegetarian at the age of eleven after passing by a killinghouse with her father when they were on the road. PEOPLE reports that she said, "It was horrible to witness all the animals awaiting slaughter in that slaughterhouse." It was shocking to me to use this method to obtain meat. Since then, she has been on an all-vegan diet.
