Media has called Allison Howell Williams a terror queen because of her role in horror films. Her first appearance was Marnie in HBO's comedy-drama Girls (2012-17), for which she was awarded an Critics' Choice Award. Her big break came when she played her role as Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), which won her nominations at the MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among other awards.
